It’s the fall of the year and time for new beginnings. My granddaughters just started at a new school, and so I begin a new blog.
I’ve had this domain name for several years: ForeverPrime.com. Isn’t it great? So filled with promise. I bought it expecting that one day I’d write about making every age the best of our lives – the “prime years.”
Well, here I am at age 62, and honestly I feel like Prime Time is beginning. Soon RJ and I will be retired. We’ll have time for travel, volunteering, gardening, family, playing with friends and all those business pursuits my entrepreneurial little self keeps straying toward.
But physically, am I in my prime? Boy howdy, nope. My weight and blood pressure are too high, and my overall health meter is too low. Is this how I want to retire in the “prime” of my life?
I have friends who are feeling it, too. Overweight, under exercised, and battling with any number of lifestyle related health complaints. The years creep up on a gal and then WHAM! Overnight you’re an old lady with bladder control issues.
I don’t want that.
And there’s still time to change it. There’s ALWAYS time to feel better.
This blog is my way to hopefully connect with other women in the same stage of life, with the same mindset. I’m looking for my lady peeps who want to support each other on a journey to better health and vitality.
I’m not a doctor or any kind of medical professional, so please don’t take anything I write as gospel. This blog is just me, working through the mountains of health info out there, to come out the other side a healthier person.
Thanks for stopping by! Stick around and say “hi” when you get a chance.
Cheers,
